Turning Imagination into Reality

The Samson

“The Samson” crane ship wrecked on the rocks below Ardmore Head in County Waterford following a severe storm in 1987, is just one of the many photographs in “Waterford, A County Revealed”. To celebrate the onset of 2024, Blurb POD publishers, are offering a two day discount of 20% on the book starting from tomorrow and finishing Tuesday (8th and 9th of January).

Measuring 10″X8″, the book features over 130 colour photographs with anecdotal captions by the photographer-author (me) and a foreword by the renown late, travel writer, Dervla Murphy. It takes the form of a journey wandering over heather-covered mountains, along seaside cliffs that created Ireland’s first Geopark, visits ancient villages and towns, and delights in the historic Viking and Norman heritage of Waterford City.

Available in hardback, softback or even as a PDF, you can get a copy by just logging in to the the Blurb Bookstore HERE, and apply the discount code of JANBOOK20 (exactly as written) when asked for it.
