WATERFORD, A COUNTY REVEALED: My first book…
”George Munday presents County Waterford as it is and we must be grateful that so much of my home territory remains as it was when first I explored it on my bicycle”... Dervla Murphy, best known for her 1965 book “Full Tilt: Ireland to India With a Bicycle“.
“Waterford, A County Revealed” is quite unique being the only purely photographic book that fully illustrates the beauty of the county. It’s my first book and one that took me to every part of the county: the oldest city in Ireland; pretty fishing ports; a 19th Century mining legacy; prehistoric artefacts; ancient castles; charming villages and two spectacular mountain ranges. Sadly, the county is often missed as visitors race to the west coast, and as the book shows, they’re overlooking something wonderful.
